Information we collect
We may collect your name, contact details, address, property and roof information, electricity use, tariff, bills, photographs, EV requirements, consultation preferences, referral details, messages, quotations, project records, correspondence and technical or installation documents. Our website may also record limited security and consented performance information.
Why we use it
We use information to respond to enquiries, assess and design suitable renewable-energy solutions, provide quotations, arrange surveys and appointments, perform contracts, coordinate grid and installation requirements, provide project updates, comply with legal duties, prevent misuse and improve our service. The relevant lawful bases are steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests and consent where required.
Who receives it
Information is shared only where needed with our authorised staff and group delivery teams; carefully selected hosting, secure storage, customer-relationship and project-portal providers; calendar and communications services; professional advisers; equipment or finance partners chosen by you; network operators, certification bodies, regulators and authorities where required. We do not sell personal information.
International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the UK. Where this occurs, we require an appropriate UK transfer safeguard or another lawful protection.
How long we keep it
Unsuccessful or early-stage enquiries are normally retained for up to 24 months. Customer, project, financial and contract records are normally retained for up to six years after the relationship ends, with relevant certification, safety, warranty or legal records retained longer where necessary. Uploads that are no longer needed are deleted securely.
Your rights
You may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive portable information and withdraw consent. Contact us first so we can help. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
